Links to Literacy and Numeracy
The Arts contributes to the development of literacy skills. Learning in The Arts involves students in the creation, use and analysis of written and spoken texts, visual images, and multi-modal texts.
Numeracy skills are developed in The Arts as students solve problems and engage in practical activities involving numerical and spatial concepts, counting, measuring, designing, mapping and calculating and the organisation of data.
